Summary and Purpose of Role: We are seeking an organised and creative Brand Executive to join our small and dynamic Marketing Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our renowned cheese brands, including Applewood®, Ilchester®, Jarlsberg®, and Mexicana®. Your primary focus will be collaborating and supporting the Marketing Team to help achieve key objectives outlined within brand plans.


Presentations: Manage the design of internal branded MSOffice PowerPoint templates and collaborate with cross-functional teams to help create compelling presentations that align with brand aesthetics and effectively communicate key messages.


NIQ Brandbank/Online Product Listings: Support the PD Process Developer and Account Managers in maintaining up-to-date, accurate, and consistent product imagery and information across all retailers and websites.


Award Portfolio: Manage award entries across all brands.


Events: Contribute to the organisation of both B2B and B2C events and sampling activities to enhance brand visibility and engagement.


Brand Compliance: Function as a custodian for the brands. Ensure that all marketing materials and assets are up to date, consistent and adhere to brand guidelines.


NPD/EPD Concepts: Help Marketing and NPD Teams to ideate new innovative products.


Design of Marketing Materials: Collaborate on creative projects with external design agencies and design internal materials independently using the MSOffice Suite, Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.


Development & Analytics :Ensure the continuous updating of websites and optimise SEO using WordPress CMS. Monitor and analyse website performance through Google Analytics, creating insightful quarterly reports.


Analysis: Conduct quarterly benchmarking sessions and compile competitor analysis reports to keep the team informed about industry trends and competitor activities.


Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of UK and international industry trends, bringing fresh ideas to the team to enhance brand positioning. Contribute insights to brand plans and campaigns.


Media and PR: Collaborate with agencies on brainstorming campaigns, organising influencer packs, and managing competition prizes to bolster the brand's presence on social media and in the press.


Merchandise Management: Manage branded merchandise from research and design, through to placing orders within budget and managing stock inventory.


Communications: Keep employees and customers informed on the latest successes through newsletter creation, LinkedIn updates, and internal intranet communications.


Images and Pack Shots: Ensure images and pack shots are organised and up to date.


Samples: Effectively manage sample requests, facilitating seamless communication between internal contacts and external agencies.


Consumer Engagement: Engage with consumers, respond to enquiries, comments, and reviews to enhance brand loyalty.


Management: Support the Team with managing artwork for selected brands during busy periods; from briefing projects into the design agency through to sending artwork to print.


Administration: Provide support in various administrative tasks, including maintaining up-to-date folders and documents and managing credit card expenses on the internal expenses system.


Assist: Support the team with ad hoc marketing tasks and projects as required, ensuring a flexible and collaborative approach to meeting objectives

Speak and write clearly and in a concise manner. Confident in sense checking materials ensuring accuracy before publication or print.
