Role Overview:


My client is seeking an experienced and driven Head of Enterprise Sales to lead the sales strategy for their digital core banking, OTC derivatives, and treasury solutions across the UK market. In this leadership role, you will manage a team of 5 Enterprise Account Executives (AEs), overseeing the acquisition of new logos (enterprise customers) and driving overall revenue growth in key financial services sectors.


As the Head of Enterprise Sales, you will bring extensive experience in both individual contributor sales and sales leadership, providing strategic direction while also being hands-on in guiding the sales team to meet targets and close complex deals.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 Enterprise Account Executives, ensuring alignment with my client’s sales objectives. Create a high-performance sales culture focused on achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for my client’s digital core banking, OTC derivatives, and treasury solutions. Focus on acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding market share within the UK financial services sector.
  • New Business Development: Identify high-value prospects within the UK market, including banks, fintech companies, and financial institutions. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring the team targets the right opportunities for business growth.
  • Deal Management & Client Engagement: Take a hands-on approach in managing and supporting key sales opportunities from lead generation through to deal closure. Cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers to understand their business challenges and articulate how my client’s solutions can deliver measurable value.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment in go-to-market strategies and product offerings. Provide valuable feedback to the product team based on client and market insights.
  • Sales Performance & Reporting: Drive the sales performance of your team by closely monitoring KPIs and sales metrics. Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership, offering insights into sales activities and forecasts.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Sales Leadership Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience leading high-performing enterprise sales teams in a technology or financial services environment. Proven success in growing and managing teams while delivering significant revenue growth.
  • Individual Sales Experience: At least 10 years of experience as an individual contributor in sales, with a strong track record of success in selling complex solutions to enterprise clients. Experience in digital core banking, OTC derivatives, treasury management, or related financial technologies is highly preferred.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the financial services sector, including digital core banking, OTC, and treasury solutions. Familiarity with the UK market, financial regulations, and trends in fintech is highly desirable.
  • Strategic & Hands-On Leadership: Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to design and execute sales strategies. Hands-on leadership style with a focus on driving the team to meet and exceed goals.
  • Relationship Building & Negotiation Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within client organizations. Skilled in negotiation and closing high-value deals.
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering business results. Strong ability to coach and motivate a team to achieve high levels of performance.
