Our experienced evaluators apply consistent and transparent pricing methodologies, incorporating observable market data and standard market convention practices.
Role Description
Market Analysts and Evaluators are assigned to asset classes in each region within the Pricing Service: Governments, IG Corporates, High Yield, Bank Loans, Munis, Securitized Products (MBS, RMBS, CMBS, CLO/CDO), Derivatives, Compliance/Operational Risks & Controls, and Customer Service. This role requires the SMA and Evaluator to evaluate vanilla and complex Derivatives products. It involves following financial markets, collaborate with 3rd party modelling provider, making use of big data sets to create meaningful trends/themes, design methodologies and ultimately make use of advanced technologies to evaluate Derivatives. Knowledge and experience in evaluations of Derivatives such as IRS, CDS, Equity and FX Options and more complex asset types such as Variance and Volatility swap is key.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage clients' Derivatives portfolio evaluation including:
- Be familiar with the different pricing models and parameters to set up Derivatives client portfolios
- Deliver the evaluation of the portfolios based on best methodology and practices for a large volume of trades
- Test new models and software upgrades as made available by the Research & Development and IT teams
- Ensure excellent Client service
- Support sales in any Derivatives queries
Required Skills
- Degree in finance or related field
- Well-rounded knowledge of financial markets in general. Experience working with vanilla and complex derivatives is a plus
- Ability to independently research and apply complex concepts in a real-world context. Must be self-motivated and can learn quickly and operate under tight time constraints. Strong problem-solving skills are crucial
- Good verbal & written communication skills. Must have the confidence and poise to explain and defend evaluations to customers
- Knowledge of Refinitiv's products and services
- Experience working in a global matrix environment
- Knowledge and experience in evaluations of Derivatives such as IRS, CDS, Equity and FX Options and more complex asset types such as Variance and Volatility swap
