The Role
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, encompassing all facets of the conveyancing process, utilizing the industry's leading case management system.
- The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with proven experience in overseeing a mixed portfolio of sale and purchase transactions, including freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, and new build properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload, ensuring adherence to personal targets and deadlines.
- Proactively oversee transactions while effectively managing client expectations.
- Assume responsibility for files from inception to completion, maintaining compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), regulatory requirements, and statutory obligations.
- Provide clients with pertinent legal advice, ensuring their best interests are represented throughout the transaction.
- Liaise with counterpart solicitors, mortgage lenders, brokers, clients, and local authorities.
- Address complex inquiries by conducting thorough research and offering accurate advice.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, resolving issues to safeguard clients and the business.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to Paralegals.
Person Specification:
- A minimum of 3+ years' experience managing a residential property caseload from start to finish.
- Essential experience in New Build and Shared Ownership transactions.
- Profound understanding of property laws and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in document drafting and research.
