THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly organised PA to support our partners and immediate teams. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrable experience within an Executive PA / PA post in a fast paced Accountancy Practice. You will play a pivotal role in servicing the partner’s portfolio of tax and accounting clients from liaising with clients on delivery of work to billing and collecting fees. You will also support the firm's finance partner.


PA KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand and proactively manage and prioritise the partner’s workload, ensuring client and business needs are met
  • Work closely with the partner and managers on client work and relationships to ensure excellent client service and delivery
  • Ensure client and internal business projects are completed and that progress on outstanding work is emphasised, highlighting any areas requiring attention and updates to the necessary parties
  • Assist with delivering client advice - preparation of reports, diagrams and other documentation in a timely fashion
  • Provide excellent client service and maintain client contact at a high level; tracking, chasing and managing client needs
  • Liaison on the provision of Company Secretarial services to clients
  • Ensuring partner receives WIP/debtor reports, assisting with raising bills, distributing bills and supporting credit control
  • Operation of a small number of client accounts and arranging payments
  • Support the partner in the delivery of Probate and Estate Administration services, including drafting Wills and LPAs
  • Responsible for the operation of the firm's fee protection policy
  • Schedule and provide assistance with meetings, presentations, internal and external lunches, travel and conference calls
  • Act as the liaison between the partner and wider teams, internal colleagues, external clients and other contacts, answering questions and routing requests appropriately


WHO YOU ARE

  • Demonstrable experience within an Executive PA / PA post in a fast paced Accountancy Practice
  • Previous experience of successfully working with and for various members and levels of senior management, up to and including partners

  • Ideally has a good working knowledge of CCH and billing
