We are looking for an experienced IT Controls Testing Manager to join the IT Service Management Team in our Technology Division. The Technology Manager will lead and manage day-to-day testing of key IT controls, working with the Director of Technology Operations, CISO and other heads of Technology Teams to ensure appropriate testing is completed for IT controls in their respective teams.
Through engagement the Technology Manager will manage the IT Controls Testing Lead activities to ensure consistency of approach and that testing methods are adapted as new solutions are onboarded or as technology changes with delivery of projects.

What you'll be doing?
- Providing timely and practical advice to stakeholders to help them strengthen reporting framework and continual improvement is testing processes to make IT controls more efficient and effective to both operate and test.
- Working closely and supportively with control owners and projects to ensure control is maintained as processes, systems, and technology changes evolves.
- Producing and reviewing reports produced by the Controls Test Lead, providing guidance and development as required
- Creating the annual controls testing plan and coordinate IT controls attestations at half year and full year.
- Contributing to the change Impact assessment process to Identify where changes in technology will have an impact or require additional controls.
- Leading Initiatives to strengthen IT controls across Finance and other reporting teams and support and coaching to controls testers.
Who are we looking for?
- At least 3 years of testing, and ideally managing the testing of IT controls.
- Understanding of typical IT controls, their purpose, and what evidence is required from IT systems and processes.
- Experience of creating and risk-assessing process flow documentation to Identify key IT controls.
- Experience of providing proactive controls advice, working as a 'controls business partner' to Technology and other teams who may be involved in IT controls
- Knowledge of the control's requirements of the updated Corporate Governance Code and controls governance frameworks more widely.
- Awareness of, and curiosity around, automation techniques that could be used to strengthen controls frameworks and make testing more efficient.
