The role

As a Programme Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Leveraging your skills in project delivery and leadership, you will lead a mission-critical, high-profile, and complex programme with change and transformational elements.

Your key responsibilities include leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver systems for the UK’s national deterrent platform, the Dreadnought class submarine. Drawing on your experience managing programmes, you will support the delivery of large and technically complex equipment/system contracts.

Day-to-day, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to a large team, prioritizing to meet delivery commitments and financial goals. You will be responsible for direct customer interaction, ensuring their confidence in our delivery. Additionally, you will:

  • Attend senior stakeholder meetings with leadership, Commercial, and MoD customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the program team.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables.

Essential experience of the Dreadnought Programme Manager

  • Strong Project and Programme Management knowledge
  • Experienced in delivering complex programmes

Qualifications for the Dreadnought Programme Manager

  • You will ideally hold a project management qualification such as APM PMQ, ChPP or equivalent

Security Clearance

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
