Salary: £45,000 per annum + £5,000 car allowance

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Flexible start and finish times)


About the Role

Carbon60 is recruiting an experienced SHE Advisor to join our client’s Sustainable Drainage Systems team based in Mansfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company committed to delivering the highest standards of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) practices across their projects. The role offers a hybrid working model with occasional work-from-home options, though travel to sites will be required.


Key Responsibilities

As the SHE Advisor, you will be at the forefront of promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring SHE compliance, and leading by example for both employees and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Championing SHE best practices across the business and maintaining full compliance with legal requirements.
  • Working closely with operational teams to support their SHE responsibilities and goals.
  • Providing prompt and effective SHE support and guidance to the business unit.
  • Assisting in developing Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
  • Supporting operational teams with the preparation and review of Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS).



About You

This role would be ideal for an experienced SHE Advisor with a background in underground services. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A NEBOSH Certificate (preferably in Construction) or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body, such as Tech IOSH or above.
  • Proven experience working in a SHE advisory capacity.
  • Experience working on underground services
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
