Please note - this is a start up role - this expertise and this position does not exist today - you will initially, until the role is developed and the division is generating profit, be operating within a standalone capacity. Resource will be provided from a delivery and administrative support perspective when you have brought the business in, but this is not about building a team and running the team. YOU ARE, at least for year one, THE TEAM.

ROLE BACKGROUND


We are a $100m investment firm that specialise in the medical aesthetics industry and have a network of warehouses globally that serve as local procurement centres which also pick, pack and ship products to our end consumer - currently this is about 90% in the US and our customer is small - medium sized health care professionals.


Within this highly entrepreneurial business, we are looking to build and develop a new division that focusses on providing HR advisory and executive search and lower level recruitment services to the Healthcare industry - in particular, with the big global manufacturers (with whom we work with currently from a sale distribution perspective). Does IS NOT ABOUT GP RECRUITMENT.


Specifically, I want to find someone to join and head up a new healthcare recruitment business that we will build together from scratch. My background is all high(er) end Executive Search within consumer facing industries, like retail, F&B, Hospitality, Fashion, Beauty, Travel and Leisure. I have always focussed on digital, data, customer, technology and helped businesses transform within this space. My vision is to do the same within the healthcare space on a global level - but I do not have the industry experience and network to open the door to these relationships within the big companies I would like to work with.


This is NOT A DELIVERY ROLE - This is a 100% business development, lead generation and bringing onboard new clients to the table role. The support required for the delivery will be built, in conjunction with you, when the results warrant it. As such, you MUST BE driven by bringing in business and building new relationships with clients, as well as bringing you extensive network to the table.


This will be interesting for you if:

• you want to do something on your own, but are scared to take the leap - or maybe you cannot quite commercially afford to take the leap on your own (we will support and help with this) • You come from this industry (healthcare recruitment), are already doing this for somebody else's businesses, but are feeling like there is no room for growth or no ability to get creative • Maybe you are already out on your own, and are struggling - you are running your own recruitment company and looking for a partner • Maybe you are looking for a investor to help you take your business to the next level or growth - and joining our company makes a lot of sense for you


I need someone who:

• Comes from an executive search background with relevant contacts within big pharma and and manufactures of medical devices, pharma, equipment, aesthetics etc • This knowledge and expertise and contact book is not existing within this business currently and this is what we need • This should be a pan European function and this person should be relevant across multiple markets and enjoy building • This is a brand new role - it does not exist today. We are still exploring the ins and the outs for how it can shape and develop - and I have a feeling that when we find the right candidate, they will play an essential role in helping to create this department • Within this space there is back end capability already in place and a decent internal network (not from search or recruitment), but from the industry that you might be able to leverage to your advantage • We think that, to be relevant for this role, you will have done something like this in your past. Or perhaps you have grown weary of working for big stuffy corporate search firms and want to branch out on your own and try something new - with some investment backing behind you


Requirements: • 5+ plus years working in a similar capacity within the healthcare, medical equipment manufacturing, pharmaceutical or sales distributor space and owning a Talent Acquisition or Recruitment business development function • Developing business and winning clients • Proven experience delivering measurable impact to the P&L • Exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate and manage creative solutions • Running your own desk and managing your own P&L. You will, in essence, be within a stand alone capacity until the business case is presented and until results are delivered • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills working well with others across the wider company
