Maintenance Engineering Manager

Working from a well established manufacturing facility that is part of a larger group, in a critical role focusing on managing reliability and overall site engineering capabilities.
The Role
- Reporting to the General Manager
- Responsible for the site engineering function covering both the management of the day to day reactive maintenance as well as planned maintenance activity.
- You will be responsible for delivering against operational needs as well as providing a first class service to internal customers.
- You will promote best practice with an emphasis on delivering results through the effective management of your team.
- You will facilitate and co-ordinate all of your teams activities and offer support for their own development.
Your Experience
- An apprentice trained or qualified engineer and have experience of managing an engineering team in a manufacturing environment.
- A flexible and hands on approach to people management is essential.
- If required you should be happy to step in and support your team.
- You will be able to demonstrate accountability and effective delivery of goals and have broad engineering skills and a passionate approach that will inspire your team.
- A self-motivated individual with high energy levels, you can calmly react to unexpected business demands to achieve the desired results.
