Role Overview

The Change Portfolio Manager will be responsible for delivering critical projects within the technology organisation that will enable the transformation and growth of the Energy & Commodities business. The focus of this role will be working across the main delivery portfolios for the change organisation; transformation, regulatory and change the business (CTB) as well as supporting run the business (RTB) activities as required.

Role Responsibilities
  • Work with the Portfolio Business Sponsor and ensure that proposed projects are in line with the strategic portfolio objectives.
  • Responsible for the Change Portfolio roadmap encompassing delivery of all associated projects.
  • Manage delivery of Portfolio objectives via the TP ICAP Change Management delivery framework.
  • Ensure project budgets within portfolio are appropriately tracked and managed.
  • Define and appropriately communicate the roadmap for the portfolio.
  • Implement and own portfolio governance structures in line with TP ICAP's corporate governance to ensure an appropriate degree of oversight and control is applied
  • Ensure risks and issues which have an impact at a portfolio level are identified, tracked and mitigated, and that dependencies between projects are understood and tracked.
  • Coach, mentor and motivate team members and influence them to focus on their key objectives and be accountable for their work.
  • Support the business through any new change demand and the project initiation process
  • Manage PM/BA resource allocation to the projects within the portfolio
  • Agree Business Analyst deliverables with Business Analysis Management
  • Fulfil any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
Experience / Competences

Essential
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record of implementing, driving similar programmes / projects with a company of the size and complexity of TP ICAP
  • Proven record of leading and managing multiple projects geographically dispersed
  • Strong technical understanding, with a proven track record of overcoming technical challenges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Service oriented, adaptable and resilient
  • Results oriented with personal accountability and a product mindset
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence senior managers
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to successfully manage multiple tasks
