Dalkia UK are looking for a full time HR Administrator to join our HR team. This role will be a mixture of working from home and from our office which is based in Birmingham Business Park.


Main activities:

  1. To provide and deliver an efficient, professional, customer focused HR administration service.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and own the HR administrative processes to deliver an accurate, efficient and customer focused service
  2. Proactively review and manage HR administrative processes and put recommendations forward for improvements, create efficiency's and streamline systems of work where possible, taking all stakeholders into account.
  3. Be the first point of contact for HR queries channel appropriately
  4. Manage several HR email inboxes and filtering HR queries to relevant team members
  5. Updating and maintaining various HR systems
  6. Process starters and leavers, changes of terms and conditions, TUPE, benefits and pension etc
  7. Supporting the wider HR team with ad hoc projects
  8. Work closely with Payroll to report new starters, absence, changes and leaver information
  9. Compile reports from the HR system(s) as required


Person Specification

Essential

  1. Previous administration experience within a busy environment.
  2. Working with data systems, inputting data, reporting on data and maintaining systems.
  3. Excellent organisation, time management skills and experienced in prioritising changing workloads and working to deadlines.

Desirable

  1. Previous HR admin experience.
  2. Experience of HR
  3. Analysing data


Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  1. Experience with data manipulation and data analyst skills – You will need to be able to pull raw data in order to provide summaries and reports and be able to create automated reports.
  2. Competent user of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point) and a desire and ability to expand PC skills. Especially Excel and using v-lookups/pivot tables etc.
  3. Strong numerical ability
  4. Ability to build effective relationships with line managers and employees of all levels of the business
  5. Ability to work confidentially at all times
  6. Customer focused with a strong track record of exceeding the requirement of customers (internal or external)
  7. Good all round level of education
