Our client a global independent construction business is looking to hire a Senior Project Planner to join a multi-billion-pound tunnelling project. You will assist an existing team on a second phase of this exiting civil engineering programme in London, this is a hybrid working role working 3 days onsite and 2 from home.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans for major infrastructure projects.
- Understanding how the team/client currently work, getting to grips with any Project Control systems and processes and continually identifying new and more efficient ways of working to help streamline processes and procedures.
- Utilise extensive P6 experience to ensure accurate scheduling and resource allocation.
- Apply working knowledge of NEC forms of contract to manage project risks and ensure compliance.
- Lead MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) planning efforts on large-scale projects.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Collaborate within a multi-functional project team to achieve project objectives.
- Extract, analyse, and interpret data to produce accurate, timely, and informative reports.
- Identify root causes and impacts, providing insights to drive project success.
Job requirements
- 5+ years of planning experience, preferably within major infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in project planning with demonstrated success in previous roles.
- Proficient in P6 software.
- Comprehensive understanding of NEC forms of contract.
- Experience in MEP planning.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to generate detailed reports and insights.
