About You


We’re seeking a highly motivated and analytical property Relationship Director/Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our Borrower client relationships.


Reporting to the Head of Development Finance, you will serve as a trusted resource and exercise sound judgement when evaluating property development deals and their associated due diligence and contract terms. Important aspect of the role is to create meaningful strategic relationships that add value to Invest & Fund.


As part of a wider Development Finance Team, you will work closely with the Directors, development Finance to help source and deliver new business in addition to be the primary point of contact for existing clients.


Ideally you will:

  • Have a strong knowledge and understanding of the real estate development finance market.
  • Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Be an excellent communicator with an ability to compile and write solid and robust reports.
  • Highly motivated with an ability to work independently and collaboratively with the wider team.
  • Self-assured professional with an ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


About the Role


Key elements of the role:

  • Underwriting and Risk Assessment – Evaluate residential property loan applications, assessing the risk and viability of each loan request in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Property Valuation Analysis - Review and analyze property valuations and market data to determine the adequacy of collateral.
  • Decision Making – Make informed underwriting decisions and provide recommendations to the credit committee, ensuring all loan approvals are in line with the company’s risk appetite.
  • Documentation and Compliance – Ensure all underwriting documentation is complete and compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Liaise with Customers, brokers, solicitors, surveyors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth processing of loan applications.
  • Market Insight – Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to continuously improve the underwriting process.
  • Reporting – Prepare and present regular reports on underwriting activities, loan portfolio performance, and market conditions to senior management.
