Our Social Organiser will have a key role supporting our existing members to get social and active. An emphasis will be on bringing in new members to enjoy what the Oddfellows have to offer with the support from head office. You will need to be a highly sociable person who is able to create fun and friendships; promote the Oddfellows, take an active part in what we do, and be willing to travel throughout the West Midlands. The successful candidate will be expected to complete training led by our Manchester Team to support this role.


Responsibilities

To co-ordinate, organise, administrate and develop the social proposition of the District to attract potential and existing members within the Birmingham area. To take a proactive role in the recruitment of new members and to build and support a team of volunteers to facilitate both our social and care activities. To support the Committee in the creation and execution of a Development Plan.


Qualifications


Good knowledge and use of FAcebook, IT, mobile and laptops

Good social skills, friendly disposition and ability to run groups

Access and use of a car with appropriate car insurance and is prepared to travel across the West Midlands.
