Head of Content and Brand


Location: London area (hybrid role - once a week in the office)




Purpose of the role:


In this role you will own content marketing and brand strategy while leading a cross functional team. Working alongside the Head of Acquisition, you will develop and deliver the broader marketing strategy focused on the following areas: brand awareness, demand gen and SEO content and PR. You and your team will also work closely with other teams across marketing, sales, and our external agencies.



Duties and responsibilities:


Content Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing plan to engage prospects across the purchasing funnel
  • Oversee creation of high-impact content across various formats (blogs, whitepapers, videos, etc.) optimized for SEO and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate on customer marketing content with product marketing and customer success teams.
  • Encourage innovation and “out of the box” thinking to elevate our content strategy.


Brand Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop top-of-funnel campaigns and a cohesive social media strategy to build organic growth.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Work with the People team to define and promote our employer brand.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Manage and mentor a talented team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set goals and KPIs, track team performance, and drive accountability for results.
  • Empower the team with regular feedback, growth opportunities, and a strategic vision for success.


Collaboration with Growth Team:

  • Work with the Growth team to align content and brand efforts with acquisition, conversion, and retention goals.
  • Partner on integrated campaigns, A/B testing, and optimization to boost engagement and conversion rates.
  • Share insights and learnings across teams to ensure alignment with market trends and customer needs.


Yearly Planning and Analytics:

  • Lead annual content and brand planning, setting clear objectives and tactics aligned with business goals.
  • Define and track key KPIs, including organic sessions, content engagement, and brand awareness metrics.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends and inform strategy.



Skills & Knowledge required:


  • EXTENSIVE EXPEREINCE WITH B2B SAAS
  • Articulate written, visual and verbal communicator, excellent copy accuracy and proofreading skills; fluency in English is essential
  • Proven experience in content marketing, brand strategy, and leadership roles within the SaaS
  • Knowledge of modern content and brand marketing best practices
  • Understand the value of content creation and content repurposing
  • Out of the box thinking to help position our brand as the leader in the market
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and creativity
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
