Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute both short and long-form content tailored for social media, including video, photos, and graphics, to promote talent and brands.
- Collaborate with artists, content creators, record labels, and brands to identify and meet their content needs.
- Create ideas, pitches, and presentations that will take your concepts from ideation to execution—this may include updating artists' and talent's social media profiles.
- Drive creative campaigns that resonate with youth audiences, unlocking new fan engagement opportunities and deepening connections with current followers.
- Recruit and manage a team of content creators (employees and freelancers) to support your vision and expand your capabilities.
- Build and nurture an external client base while maintaining a healthy and profitable P&L.
Content Creation Duties:
- Produce, edit, and deliver engaging digital content that aligns with the artist/talent/brand vision.
- Design aesthetic content strategies for social media platforms that reflect the story and identity of the talent or brand.
- Provide strategic guidance to artists on creating and curating their own social media content.
- Capture and deliver real-time content at live events, appearances, and special moments.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience creating content (music label, marketing or talent agency, brand)
- Understanding of the music/entertainment industry and the cultural relevancies of these industries
- Strong campaign examples to reference
- If you have your own following, this is a bonus but not the most important thing
