La Fosse are partnering a leading financial services client who are seeking a Data Architect to help them shape and define the architecture in one of their key business areas. This is a brand new role in a growth area that is receiving a huge amount of investment, and this individual will have the ability to build out from a truly greenfield environment in this space.


Key Skills:


  • Experience in developing vision, strategies and roadmaps for Data at an enterprise level.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership for Data and be an outboard motor for trends, innovation and industry best practice
  • Ability to work closely with the other domains i.e. Security, Applications, Business to ensure all solutions and strategy are in line with the overall business objectives
  • Experience in taking a data model from early stages towards high level of maturity
  • Snowflake and Star Schema experience would be highly beneficial


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the business stakeholders in order to translate business objectives into Architecture strategies and visions and be the owner of these moving forward
  • Provide guidance to the Development teams when it comes to Data and Data Architectures
  • Provide Data governance to the IT team as well as the wider business
