37.5 hours per week | Mon - Fri | 09:00 to 17:30 | Hybrid Working | Paisley (Glasgow Airport)


You will play a significant role in overseeing the air export operations from our facility outside of Glasgow Airport.


You will be collaborating with experienced freight professionals - some of the best in the industry - who will help you to develop your career in freight forwarding.

Your role as an Air Export Agent:

  • Create, manage and maintain Airfreight shipments using the Cargowise system
  • Ensure all export documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant in line with trade regulations and destination country requirements
  • Oversee loading/unloading of export cargo, ensuring proper handling, packaging, and labelling
  • Coordinate shipment planning with DHL's transport and warehouse teams, overseas offices, and other internal departments
  • Be the go-to person for customers, providing status updates and addressing any enquiries
  • Adhere to customs compliance procedures and documentation
  • Liaise with Carriers and Handling Agents to resolve exceptions and discrepancies as they arise


About you - you will have:

  • Experience in freight forwarding/operations - Import or Export is essential
  • Administration experience in an office environment
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • A high attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and efficiently manage workload
