Job Title: Air Export Agent

Are you a skilled professional looking to take your career to the next level? We're seeking an experienced Air Export Agent to join our team at DHL Global Forwarding (UK) Limited.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to manage the export process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of air freight. As an Air Export Agent, you'll be responsible for developing relationships with customers, airlines, and DHL offices, as well as maintaining accurate records and adhering to customs compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, airlines, and DHL offices to grow existing business and identify new opportunities.
  • Manage the export process, including air freight planning, coordination, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to customs compliance procedures.
  • Use Company systems to create, manage, and maintain the movement of freight.
  • Ensure all customer enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
  • Two or more years' experience within the Freight Forwarding Industry.
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C or above – or equivalent desirable.
  • Experience of HMRC procedures.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Clear and concise communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Ability to follow processes.
  • Ability to support a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Inter-personal skills - Influencing, communication, relationship management, cultural awareness and ability to work across teams.
  • Knowledge of Freight Forwarding industry: Exports, imports and related processes.
