Location: City of London and Remote

Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 per annum (depending on skills)

The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Client Relationship Manager to develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients and raise awareness of the Institute. The successful candidate will also serve as the principal contact with branch membership committees.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Liaison: Maintain effective communication channels with existing key customers, delivering presentations and updating them on new developments.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and review key customers, produce statistical reports, and highlight business activity with the Institute.
  • Collaboration: Work with the Customer Support Centre’s relevant account managers to obtain up-to-date account information, address account issues, and agree on action points.
  • Committee Support: Act as committee secretary for branch committees, attend meetings, take minutes, send out newsletters, ensure action points are addressed, and assist the committee President in developing the committee and branch.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: 2+ years in a Client Relationship Management role and 1+ years within the Financial Services sector (professionally or academically).
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with external firms and networking at events.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, and familiar with databases.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills, with experience delivering presentations to students at universities preferred.
