Data Management Executive

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Data Management Executive to support and drive the implementation of Data Governance across our organization and our Data Applications.

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor and manage the security of data applications to meet legal, compliance, and security requirements
  • Define and drive Data Governance practices across our organization and our Data Applications
  • Work with Data Governance teams, Cyber, and DPO to ensure clear ownership of data and applications to support the appropriate assurance, provision of access, and data security, and determine appropriate policy procedures and security training for our Data Applications, users, and team
  • Work closely with the business and Data Owners to understand the data they use: quality of the data/issues, definitions, and documentation
  • Ensure all system documents are accurate and up to date with current security practices and audit information
  • Provision and management of user access to our Data Applications and ensure the business can access the data they need in a timely way
  • Actively work with users and Data Owners to ensure access to Data Applications is appropriate and relevant for their requirements
  • Ensure all audits are completed in a timely way
  • Create reporting and ad-hoc analysis to help the Data Leadership Team and Data Owners make decisions relating to our Data

Your experience:

  • Numeric degree (desirable)
  • Experience of access management of systems
  • Experience of security audit and control
  • Experience and knowledge of data governance practice
  • Basic SQL skills – enough to do basic data testing and/or quality checks
  • Knowledge of leading reporting and data analysis tools: Tableau, BO, Excel, etc. (desired)
