The People Services Representative is responsible for providing support in various people areas, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding/off-boarding, performance management, L&D, rewards and compliance.

This role is both generalist and operational, you’ll support the end to end employee experience ensuring smooth operation of our people processes and contributing to creating a positive work environment and an engaging employee experience.

You will have an opportunity to be involved in and have influence over all aspects of a People Department and gain invaluable experience and understanding of what it takes to manage a spectrum of people services.


Key Responsibilities

No one day will be the same. You will:


  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads and liaising with external recruiters, screening CVs, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating hiring processes.
  • Manage onboarding for new employees.
  • Maintain our HRIS (HiBoB), ensure our people data is always up to date.
  • Support employees with day to day people-related questions.
  • Support our review process management.
  • Provide administrative support to our people (employees and managers).
  • Prepare and process HR documents, including employment contracts, letters, offers and reports.
  • Explain our policies and processes clearly, ensuring compliance.
  • Manage the administration of our employee benefits.
  • Support payroll processing when needed.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and audits of our people policies and processes.
  • Keep abreast of changes and trends in the industry (HR, employment).
  • Participate in People projects and initiatives aimed at improving our processes and employee experience.


Key Skills


  • Understanding of the main people processes, employee lifecycle and best practice.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable managing changing priorities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with using HRIS and onboarding and engagement tools (HiBob, Workleap). Good command of technology.
  • Analytical thinker, Active Listener and Problem-solver.


Qualifications/Experience


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or CIPD level 3 or 5 would be desirable.
  • 2+ years' of experience working in Human Resources/People role, preferably as a generalist
  • Experience working in a small company or a consultancy is a plus.
