The Role:

As AVP, Compliance Assurance you be part of a new team playing a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Compliance in implementing a robust and comprehensive compliance programme across the Group. Leveraging audit and programme management experience, you’ll enhance compliance processes and drive innovative solutions that strengthen the organisation’s assurance capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enhance change control processes to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Lead transformative updates to the Group’s Risk Rating Tool (RRT) methodology.
  • Manage and deliver strategic projects focused on upgrading and optimising monitoring and surveillance systems.
  • Strengthen the Group’s Compliance Validation Testing (CVT) programme through effective oversight and innovation.
  • Continuously assess and refine risk data management to enhance compliance oversight.
  • Drive advancements in Management Information (MI) reporting, focusing on automation and efficiency.
  • Provide audit and programme management expertise for ad hoc compliance projects, including M&A due diligence.
  • Collaborate with Group and jurisdictional stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of compliance initiatives.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage large datasets, with proficiency in SQL being highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of financial crime, regulatory compliance, and sanctions, particularly in the UK and CDOT jurisdictions.
  • Strong project and programme management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and report-writing abilities.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
