The Colleague Messaging and Surveillance engineering team, within the Technology function, is responsible for delivering and supporting communication tools that allow employees to connect and collaborate efficiently across multiple devices. A key part of this role is championing the move towards automation and evergreen processes, leveraging modern cloud technologies to continuously improve services.
Working closely with a diverse team across the UK, you'll contribute to a continuous cycle of transformation, embracing new tools and opportunities to ensure the bank stays ahead in its use of modern workplace technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support technical assessments and business understanding of changes within Colleague Messaging and Surveillance.
- Balance business needs with technical requirements, risk factors, and supplier performance.
- Advocate for automation and evergreen processes in alignment with new cloud-based services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximise the potential of modern workplace technologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of software lifecycles and software maintenance, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
- Hands-on experience with communication technologies and Software as a Service (SaaS) implementations in cloud environments.
- Expertise in the following technologies:
- Microsoft Exchange (on-premise and 365 cloud)

What We’re Looking For:
- A passion for improving colleague productivity through innovative technology.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across different teams and platforms.
- Ownership and accountability in driving issues to resolution.
