We are working with a leading infrastructure company known for its innovation and sustainability. Our client sets industry standards and is at the forefront of shaping the future of transportation.
We're looking for a Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team and support a wide range of business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide commercially-focused legal advice across various areas including construction, corporate, commercial, and procurement.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial, construction, and engineering agreements.
- Manage disputes and handle acquisitions and disposals.
- Offer legal training within the Procurement Team and across the business as required.
- Collaborate on data protection matters, working with the Data Protection Officer.
- Review, draft, and amend internal policies and standard form contracts.
- Contribute to the training and development of other legal team members.
Person Specification:
- PQE experience in contentious or non-contentious construction law.
- Trained in Private Practice
- Confidence in working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong ability to communicate and balance a diverse workload.
- Ability to identify and manage risk from both a commercial and legal perspective.
- Previous experience in the infrastructure or construction sector is advantageous.
- This role is well-suited to those transitioning from private practice to an in-house position, with a flexible and friendly working environment.
