Employee Relations Specialist

Are you looking to work in an exciting forward thinking global business? We are looking for an ER Specialist to join our HR function to work across the full remit of ER case work with focus in mid-range complexity/risk. This position could be based in Crawley, Cheadle, Reading or Glasgow.

The Role

We are looking for an ER Specialist who has the ability to work proactively across the business who can anticipate and manage risks. You will be a skilled communicator who knows when to coach and when to advise It is key that you are an adept influencer who is effective when faced with ambiguity.

The successful candidate will be highly skilled at identifying, communicating and managing risk and proactively seeks 'win-win' outcomes for all wherever possible . The ER Specialist will strongly support all parties to work collectively to achieve best outcomes for individuals and the business. You'll also work with colleagues to design & deliver training to mid-level people managers on ER policy and process.

This position requires the right candidate to be able to effectively and clearly identify and mitigate risk through drawing on knowledge of relevant employment legislation, ensuring legal compliance in the development of options and decisions made. We are looking for someone to draw on experience and have strong knowledge and understanding of case priorities and needs in order to effectively prioritise work and case load. The successful candidate will take a highly planned and organised approach, setting out clear steps and associated timeframes, and shares and agrees these with all key stakeholders.
