Location: Field Based - UK

Scope: Global

Pay Range: £23.31 PAYE or £30.65 Umbrella


Position Statement:

Reporting to the Lead Global Infrastructure Deployment, this position provides on-site and remote technical installation activities of a state-of-the art, integrated, strategic technology platform that delivers enhanced customer service and operational efficiencies.


Position Summary:

• Performs and ensures the on-site and remote technology hardware deployment works are fully operational and meet the needs of the Brands, Operations, Information Security, Technology, Franchisee and Managed Hotels

• Manage/ schedule logistics, time and activities relating to tasks assigned providing detailed reports and feedback on all Deployment works

• Assist with creation and development of tools and artefacts for use by the Hardware Deployment Engineer Program and Infrastructure Deployment Team.

• Provide support to the Director - Global Infrastructure Deployment as required, Supporting the department with the overall goal to help Development sell the Hilton IT vision to new hotel owners.

• The position will be based in Europe but may require travel from time to time to other regions


Qualifications

The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

• Proactive, Self-motivated with good time management and attention to detail.


Required Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School/GED

• Minimum Years of Experience: 3 plus years

• Additional Requirements (i.e. % of travel time, etc.):

a. An understanding of International IT standards and codes

b. Knowledge of Microsoft Server OS, SQL, WIM and configuration processes

c. Knowledge of Linux OS (ideally Ubuntu)

d. Knowledge of IT Hardware parts and assembly

e. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications

f. Business level English language skills

g. Must be in possession of a valid passport

h. Ability to travel globally up to 70% of the time


Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BA/BA Bachelors Degree and Professional IT related qualification

• Hotel Industry Experience

• Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years, including Supervisory experience

• PowerShell, Power Automate & BI knowledge

• Additional language skills would be advantageous
