Project Manager

The role requires a collaborative approach across the delivery of our people solutions, including HR, Payroll, Learning and Recruitment technology. You will be responsible for the engagement of both customer and internal stakeholders and resources, including our technology, consultancy, and development departments. You will be the key point of communication for your customers. Most importantly, you will be the kind of person who really enjoys working with organisations to deliver value from their investment in Ciphr products as quickly and effectively as possible.

Location:


The role is remote within the UK but will require occasional travel for monthly meetings to our office in Reading.



The daily tasks of a Project Manager


  • Deliver robust management of a portfolio of customer SaaS implementation projects to meet the agreed deliverables, costs, timescales including identifying and manging change control and dependencies.
  • Own the customer relationship throughout their implementation including managing any queries, issues and escalations through to resolution.
  • Develop expert technical knowledge of the Ciphr products and associated technical requirements such as API’s, SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) and partner integrations.
  • Understand and deliver against your customer’s agreed measures of success by aligning Ciphr solutions with their requirements.
  • Produce and maintain project plans, ensuring our customers are aware of activity at each stage of the project, effectively communicating responsibilities, deadlines and milestones.
  • Foresee and mitigate risks and issues before they are a concern and manage issues at the earliest opportunity to limit their potential impact
  • Confidently identify, address, and manage potential commercial issues and impacts with customers where there is slippage, additional cost or additional items requested that are out of scope.
  • Consistent compliance to Ciphr’s project management and implementation framework, methods and governance following the Ciphr Way.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the design and implementation of new and existing processes including the development of project plans, tools, and approaches.
  • Projects delivered to time, cost and quality.
  • Exceptional customer service delivered and evidenced through customer satisfaction survey.
  • Adherence to Ciphr project delivery framework
