Join Us as a UK Sales Manager

The UK Sales Manager will lead and drive the sales strategy for Changing Social in the UK market, focusing on expanding our footprint and achieving revenue growth. The role requires a dynamic leader who can manage a sales team, develop strategic sales plans, and build strong relationships with key clients, particularly in the Microsoft space. You will play a critical role in guiding the team to meet and exceed sales targets while fostering a culture of high performance and customer-centricity.


Key Responsibilities


Sales Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share goals within the UK.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Account Executives and Sales Representatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives and personal development goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive the sales team to capitalize on them.

Team Management and Development:

  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to the sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Set clear sales targets and KPIs, regularly monitoring and reporting on team performance.
  • Organize and lead regular sales meetings, ensuring alignment on strategy, progress, and best practices.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs and challenges.
  • Oversee key account management to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Represent Changing Social at industry events and conferences, positioning the company as a thought leader in digital transformation.

Sales Operations and Reporting:

  • Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales campaigns and strategies, ensuring maximum lead generation and conversion.
  • Utilize CRM tools to monitor sales activities, analyse data, and refine strategies as needed.

Product and Market Knowledge:

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of Microsoft and related digital transformation technologies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to guide the sales strategy effectively.
  • Ensure the sales team is well-versed in product knowledge, enabling them to position solutions effectively to clients.


Required Qualifications


Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales management role, preferably within the technology or software industry. Ideally with a Microsoft or Microsoft Partner background.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, particularly in selling Microsoft technologies or similar enterprise solutions.
  • Experience in managing and leading high-performing sales teams.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive a sales team to success.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a focus on customer engagement and relationship building.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, sales forecasting, and data analysis.


Certifications:

Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365, Power Platform) are a plus.
