Brand & Marketing Manager – Lyca Mobile
As the Brand and Marketing Manager at Lyca Mobile, you will work with the CMO to drive the development and execution our brand and marketing strategies. You will work closely with our brand, design, digital, product, sales and in-country teams to ensure that all communications and marketing efforts are aligned with our brand and business objectives, and that strategies defined in our London HQ are effectively rolled out and localised across the UK and other countries in which Lyca Mobile currently operates. You will also help drive the launch of new products, acting as a guardian for consistency across the brand, while leveraging local differences and opportunities.
The successful candidate will need to be a great generalist, turning their hand to a wide variety of tasks, whilst also being able to take the lead on specific projects. The team works with a ‘divide and conquer’ mentality, so you should be happy working in an agile manner, taking responsibility for different areas of the business as they arise.
Collaborating with agencies and external partners to drive brand awareness and customer engagement will also be key, as well as managing processes (such as project sign offs, the approval of assets, registration and payments of 3rd party vendors) to ensure activity happens on time and to expectations.
Key Tasks:
- Work with the CMO to activate UK and global brand strategies – including messaging, positioning and creative direction
- Drive consistency across the brand look & feel while accounting for local variation
- Help manage agencies (PR, Media) and external partners to effectively execute brand awareness and customer engagement strategies, maintaining strong working relationships and holding them to account on deliverables
- Oversee the production of assets (including radio, out of home, in-store, digital and more), managing the end-to-end process of shaping ideas and briefing in concepts, through to ensuring the timely delivery of polished final assets
- Manage the development of any landing pages to support campaigns, ensuring they are on-brand and optimised for conversions
- Develop and monitor KPIs, creating reporting processes to measure the effectiveness of activities, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement and optimise ROI
Champion the customer at all turns, ensuring all comms (such as emails & SMSs) are on-brand and best in class
- Monitor market trends, best practices and competitor activity, recommending new activities that ensure we have the most compelling customer engagement strategies in place
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all marketing materials conform with local territory requirements
- Work with product, sales and in-country teams to develop and refine local plans and activity calendars that supplement our global marketing priorities
- Support any other business activities related to Brand & Comms
Experience required:
- 5+ years of brand management and marketing, ideally with experience in telecoms and multinational brands
- Demonstrated experience of managing successful campaigns, ideally across markets
- Extensive experience of briefing and managing designers, creatives and agencies
- Experience of crafting brand narratives and storytelling
- Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills
- A flair for words, but also a stickler for detail
- A great eye for design and effective feedback skills
- A deep understanding of the customer journey and how to create engaging experiences across all touchpoints
- Experience in managing legal and compliance issues across marketing materials
- Excellent project management, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to use data and insights to drive effective decision-making
- Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude, used to working in a fast-paced, agile environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
- Fluency in English. Additional languages beneficial.
