Role Summary
The job holder will be responsible for management of key processes of the operation within the Dynamic Logistics Centre. Areas of Responsibility is inclusive of wash and equipment packing, Managing Unit Cleaning and Managing Unit Security.
Responsibilities
- Manage all team resources in line with budgeted KPI’s
- Ensure all rostering is managed in line with operational requirements
- Provide Duty Management cover across rostered weekends
- Challenge and continuously improve all processes for Despatch Chiller operations to provide
- scope for growth and more efficient workflow and operational effectiveness
- Maintain and improve performance levels in all areas
- Improve measurements in all aspects of the operational aspects to better target effective use of resources
- Develop processes to target improved efficiencies in the resources available across the area
- Identify and target on-going improvements to adherence to Kitchen Ready times, on time and accurate provision of service to the Heston customer base
- Motivate, organize and delegate effectively to deliver the above in line with company values
- Closely liaise with all other operational areas of the Heston facility to improve on time
- performance in line with our values to deliver Customer Satisfaction
- Maintain active communication with internal and external customers, line manager and customer service team regarding operational issues

Essential Criteria
- Strong people management experience
- Evidence of target improvement and problem solving in previous roles
- Experience of a fast moving and changing shop floor environment such as manufacturing, logistics, or FMCG
- Understanding of cost and control management
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in relation to operations
- Understanding of Food Hygiene in relation to operations
- Understanding of Operational Management Systems
- Flexibility in working hours
Desirable Criteria
- Experience or knowledge of working in aviation
