A bustling site in Thetford is currently seeking a dedicated Sole Chef to lead their kitchen team on a temporary basis. Specializing in classic pub food, we are looking for a dynamic individual who can deliver high-quality dishes and maintain an efficient kitchen operation.

Sole Chef Ideal Profile:

  • Experienced in managing kitchen operations independently, ideally within a casual dining environment
  • Proficient in preparing a range of classic pub dishes, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of handling the kitchen's full operational responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Sole Chef Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of traditional pub meals to a high standard
  • Manage all aspects of the kitchen including inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
  • Ensure all dishes are served promptly and at the correct temperature
  • Uphold hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with the pub management to optimize food service and customer satisfaction
