This role presents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced full stack developer & data engineer to define and co-develop Arm product and solution portfolio infrastructure. You will work with the portfolio team, enterprise data, IT and key users to specify, prototype and develop Arm next generation data portfolio framework; your work will be key to enable how Arm turns strategies into roadmaps and outcomes.

Job Overview:

The Arm portfolio team is a central team that works across Arm’s entire organization to drive, influence and shape how the business line strategies are turned into reality through the Arm products and solutions portfolio.

As a portfolio full stack software data engineer, you will be our local software champion translating business and portfolio use cases requirements into new software capabilities. You will work closely with our team leads and analysts to define a robust data & analytics architecture, that you will demonstrate and co-develop as required working with our Enterprise data and IT teams. Building on your experience, your mission will be to lead an infrastructure that underpins key Portfolio Management capabilities that is both robust and scalable, either through custom application development or using Industry standard tools & capabilities. In parallel, you will also be encouraged to contribute to different parts of our existing technical infrastructure, including managing Databases, ETLs, and reporting pipelines

Responsibilities:
  • Define and agree our portfolio infrastructure, from software to data pipelines.
  • Build early capabilities and Proof of Concept (roadmap item characterization, large dataset management and modelling, multi users inputs with custom security, approval workflows, lifecycle management etc.)
  • Plan and contribute to the development and productization of the capabilities within Arm.
  • Represent the product planning interest and needs within the Arm data and IT ecosystems.
  • Contribute and support as required existing roadmap frameworks.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience leading in complete SDLC ( Software development life cycle ), including managing large dataset with secure authorisation and access control.

  • Proficient understanding of database design principles, experience with relational database (PostgreSQL/ MySQL/ Oracle DBMS) and Azure or Aws cloud platform.
  • Experienced with building server–side web applications, preferably in python (worked on creating REST APIs using Django or FAST API). Ability to develop modern front-end frameworks (Angular/ React/ Vue). Knowledge of CSS and creating responsive layouts.
  • Knowledge of high-level system design. Experienced in creating/evaluating overall architecture of a system, its development and testing.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
  • Some experience working in ETL pipelines. Familiarity with numerical libraries like Numpy and Pandas.
  • Experience with version control - Git
  • Have worked with agile methodologies such as Jenkins, Jira, CI/CD etc.
