Responsibilities:


  • Work from our Leyland facility in the UK as part of the PACCAR Powertrain eDS team.
  • Collaborate with our global team members to lead and support on multiple electrification programmes.
  • Specify and provide e-drive solutions to the entire PACCAR global vehicles range.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders within PACCAR divisions and external partners to define and develop products.
  • Support global build of prototypes and vehicles with your components.
  • Ensure compliance with changing customer needs and government regulations when developing new designs and manufacturing procedures.
  • Investigate failures during testing and take ownership of component-related problems to resolution.
  • Collaborate with supply chain management for smooth process and availability.
  • Support and maintain FMEA processes related to e-Powertrain systems.


What We're Looking For:


  • Degree or equivalent in automotive, mechanical, electrical, Mechatronics, or Controls.
  • Proven experience in varied automotive electric driveline systems.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of automotive electric machines and power electronics.
  • Familiarity with vehicle functional safety standards (ISO26262) and cyber security is advantageous.
  • Understanding of controls and vehicle architecture is also beneficial.
  • Strong communication and cross-company collaboration skills.
  • Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, and DFSS.
  • Knowledge of requirements management tools such as DNG and Polarion is preferable.
