Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Engineer to lead a team of Project Engineers who deliver Production related equipment projects from concept to completion within specific timescales and budgets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring detailed facility specifications are compiled by Engineers working with internal customers, establishing potential solutions, and securing appropriate funding.
Key responsibilities include effective communication and engagement at all levels within the organisation, ensuring the team delivers projects in a timely manner, and being accountable for cost management and reporting progress to Senior Management and customers.
Requirements:- Essential:
- Working/Worked in a discipline related to mechanical or electrical engineering and have experience in the project guidance of Production related equipment in areas such as Machining, Fabrications, Non-Destructive testing, Additive Layer Manufacturing, component treatment and finishing.
- Experience of delivering equipment projects within a manufacturing production environment while managing Quality/Deliverables, time, cost, schedule.
- Experience of managing a team of Project Engineers and reporting on Project progress.
- HNC or HND qualification (or similar) with an Engineering Discipline.
- Desirable:
- Experience of working within an automated manufacturing production environment, ideally within Aerospace.
- Experience of working within a heavily regulated industry.
