The company operates over 1000 loads daily within the UK and Europe and has seen consistent growth over the past two decades. Job Role:


An opportunity has arisen in the International division for a role focusing on selling EU import and export road freight services. The candidate should understand the EU import/export market and possess the drive and attitude necessary to develop sales skills on the job. This role will be crucial to the company's future growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the existing sales team to develop sales skills
  • Manage all aspects of the EU sales process, from identifying sales leads to implementing new customer contracts
  • Conduct marketing activities to support the sales strategy
  • Respond to tender requests and provide quotations
  • Perform site visits and presentations to new customers
  • Manage key customer accounts
  • Work with the operations team to identify sales opportunities
  • Travel for business within the UK and Europe


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an EU road freight role
  • Demonstrable understanding of the European road freight sector
  • Self-motivation and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
