Job Title: Mental Health Nurse – CAMHS


Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Nurse to join the Fylde and Wyre CAMHS team. This is a full-time role working face-to-face with young people, providing essential mental health support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent assessments and provide support to young people.
  • Develop care plans, including hospital discharge plans, and adapt risk management strategies as needed.
  • Prioritise caseloads and provide triage and duty support for the team.
  • Work collaboratively within the team and with external organizations to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Signpost to appropriate services and make safeguarding referrals where necessary.
  • Provide effective support to young people experiencing a variety of mental health and wellbeing challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to CAMHS and children’s child protection protocols.


Position Details:

  • Location: Blackpool
  • Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Contract Duration: ASAP – 31/08/2024
  • Rate: £25.00 per hour
  • Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available


Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with relevant experience.
  • Experience in CAMHS and children’s child protection work.
  • Strong assessment, care planning, and risk management skills.
  • Ability to work face-to-face with young people and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
