Elite Creations is looking for a designer within the industry to join our team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual with a young to mid-market handwriting style who is used to working in a fast-paced environment and can work under pressure.
Helping to create and bring to life our vision across our Men’s & Ladies Accessories products including, but not exclusive to soft accessories, sunglasses & watches. If you love fashion design, researching the latest trends and want to be part of a fast-paced fashion team. This could be the opportunity for you. This is an exciting and varied role that requires a pro-active individual looking to further their experience in the fashion industry, covering multiple accessories, over many UK High street and European retailers.
Summary of Role & Key Skills
- Creative with a commercial eye. Identifying forthcoming seasons trends, sampling, product development, technical sheets, produce themed boards and work from initial design concept through to production.
- Create detailed CADs and tech-packs for the team and customer use.
- Strong in print and graphic design.
- Must be experienced in Illustrator Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat etc.
- Assist with collecting, understanding, and suggesting new fabrics and manufacturing techniques.
- Create trend boards and provide trend forecasts for the wider creative team.
- Assist in the preparation of design presentations and materials for client and sign off meetings.
- Communication with the overseas office to ensure the handover of designs and samples requests are communicated to the highest level.
- Build strong relationships with the buyers through presentation of designs.
- It is expected that you will have a portfolio and several years’ strong commercial high street experience within accessories with at least 2 years’ experience.
