Business Development Manager – FX | London
Our client, a leading innovator in the FX and payments industry, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team in London. This permanent role is ideal for a professional with 3-5 years of experience in business development within FX, FinTech, or financial services. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving new business acquisition and fostering strong client relationships to maximize growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in the FX and payments market.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, prospective clients, and areas for expansion.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver tailored pitches, proposals, and presentations to clients.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact, addressing client needs and providing FX solutions.
- Monitor client performance and satisfaction, identifying upselling opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Strategic Contribution
- Work closely with senior leadership to align business development efforts with company goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends and client feedback.
- Track and report key sales metrics, including pipeline activity and revenue forecasts.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, ideally within FX, FinTech, or financial services.
- Proven success in driving new business acquisition and managing client accounts.
- Strong understanding of FX products, solutions, and client needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- A results-oriented mindset with a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
