The Zenith UK SEO team is a small and growing SEO department working across a diverse range of brands including Funky Pigeon, TENA, Birds Eye and Aviva Investors.


The role

The role is a blend of Account Management on a recently secured client as well as leading technical delivery across a wider range of clients as and when required.


Communicating with clients you will identify their requirements, analyse markets, sites and the competitive landscape and work to craft effective strategies. With analysis you will identify opportunities for clients and select appropriate tactics to help address goals.


Responsibilities:


  • Leading delivery with overall responsibility for success of the account
  • Work with the client-side SEO manager and senior agency resource to develop effective SEO campaigns and strategies, determining the necessary SEO tactics to meet client objectives
  • Project management - plan and manage activity on account, maintaining roadmap
  • Leading all day-to-day client communication – in person, on calls and over email
  • Co-ordinate internally to enable successful delivery
  • Brief and co-ordinate with exec resource to ensure delivery of planned activity on time and to a high standard
  • Hands-on delivery of major deliverables
  • Analyse the client’s performance in organic search to identify new opportunities for improving organic search rankings, traffic and conversions
  • Manage SEO reporting (keyword rankings, SEO traffic, conversion data, etc.)
  • Leading technical delivery across our range of clients as and when required
  • Confident completing technical audits and deep dives
  • Identify, investigate and prioritise technical SEO shortcomings, proposes fix and explain complex SEO concepts to clients to secure buy-in for implementation
  • Act as a primary point of contact for technical SEO questions from clients


Experience required

  • Hands-on delivery of SEO across multiple clients within an agency environment
  • Ability to audit websites and provide recommendations for improving SEO performance.
  • Confident leading client communications in person, on calls and over email
  • A breadth of SEO knowledge across core pillars including technical, content, experience
  • Experience analysing data to support clients with insights and inform future activity.
  • Doesn’t shy away from using initiative and making decisions on accounts.
  • Ability to analyse data, gleam insights and produce clear, concise and actionable reports and slide decks.
  • Ability to establish clear internal briefings, manage projects, and distribute the workload.
  • Experience working with SEO executives, reviewing work, providing constructive feedback ensuring work is successfully delivered through to completion
  • Working knowledge of common SEO tools and platforms Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, SEMRush, Ahrefs, rank tracking solutions etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
