About the Role: They are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to work as part of a team covering sites throughout South Yorkshire and the Midlands. With responsibility for the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the company’s ISO management systems you will ensure operations are effective and fully compliant with legislation and industry standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Providing HSE management advice to company personnel and to others.
  • Working proactively with managers and other key staff to establish and maintain a programme of continuous improvement in SHEQ management within their areas of responsibility. This includes conducting regular inspections and audits on live projects and producing and communicating reports of audit and inspection findings.
  • Advising and assisting others in the production of task specific Risk Assessments and Method statements describing safe systems of work.
  • Carrying out accident / incident investigations and producing reports of same to include conclusions and recommendations to help prevent re-occurrence.



About You: Applicants should have demonstrable success in a similar role, ideally gained in a construction/civil engineering environment. A NEBOSH certificate or equivalent is preferred coupled with an excellent working knowledge of SHEQ legislation. Environmental experience, alongside an IEMA qualification would also be a distinct advantage. Your man management skills will be exceptional as you drive forward continuous improvement whilst empowering colleagues with your positive, focussed and driven approach.
