Field Engineer UK/Ire
Role: Field Service Engineer - UK/Ire
Salary/bonus: Up to £40,000 basic, £5,000 bonus, car, private healthcare, pension
Based: South Wales
CSG are proud to be partnering a really exciting UK SME in a very specialist and complex area of medical equipment and devices, in fact a partner of one of our major clients and global market leaders in the sector as well. Due to pure expansion and success the business are looking to expand their engineering team with the addition of a Field Service Engineer to cover the UK/Ire.
This is a great opportunity for a current NHS Biomedical Engineer and/or a service engineer from another industry wanting to make a step into a role that is genuinely offering loads of fast paced career development opportunities. The minimum expectations is the ability to work with complex electrical equipment with a user interface, ideally as connected/integrated solution as well though that can be taught and learned.
The owners themselves are really nice people which breeds a really nice culture internally, fun, collaborative and again a great place to develop your career.
What we're ideally looking for:
- Degree level qualifications including but not limited to electrical or biomedical engineering.
- Experience in the service, repair and maintenance of medical equipment or at least highly complex electrical equipment and devices
- The ability to be "hands on", autonomous when needed and someone the customer/end user can depend on whenever needed
- The ability to initially travel 20-30%
- As much as this in a service engineering role, it's customer facing so having that slight commercial edge to you and have a really strong customer service focus
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to break into the medical equipment and devices sector, the development opportunities are genuinely very good and want someone hungry to learn and get stuck in. We want someone with a lot of drive and enthusiam, most importantly someone genuine, down to earth and someone the customer will really enjoy working with. The business has one of the best reputations in the market on their customer delivery and care, so people with a similar approach and mindset will fit in very nicely.
If you feel you fit the above criteria and are interested in being considered please apply. Please only apply if you fit the above criteria as we are working to a very specific specification, so if you do not meet the required criteria you will unfortunately not be considered.
CSG are an equal opportunities employer working on behalf of the client.
