About the Company:


Our client is a leading Facilities Management company, renowned for managing blue-chip contracts across the nation. Due to continued success within a major blue-chip contract, they are now seeking a dedicated Multi-Skilled Technician to join their team, covering sites throughout Manchester.

Job Overview: As a Multi-Skilled Technician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive building fabric maintenance services across multiple sites. This role involves a blend of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks, both internally and externally, to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of facilities. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining services and minimizing costs by keeping work in-house.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on building fabrics, including but not limited to:

o Building repairs

o Fabric maintenance

o Painting and decorating

o Plumbing and drainage

o Joinery

o Planned maintenance tasks

• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed to a high standard and within designated timeframes.

• Conduct routine inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.

• Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed to complete tasks efficiently.

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work completed, materials used, and time spent.

• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

• Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor and building positive relationships with clients.


Qualifications and Experience:

• NVQ Level 2 Trade qualification (essential)

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

• Proven experience in a similar position within a retail or commercial environment

• Strong understanding of building fabric maintenance across various disciplines

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
