Agora Talent are delighted to be partnering with an international FMCG brand on the search for a Category Finance Manager. This multi-national business have serious growth plans in place and are hoping to double their UK sales within the next 5 years, making it a really exciting time to be joining the team.


Our client pride themselves on their ability to promote internally, and are looking for an ambitious and proactive accountant who is looking to develop and grow alongside the business.


About the role…


Reporting directly into the UK&I Finance Director, you’ll be working closely with marketing and sales teams to provide clear, actionable commercial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.


  • Track SKU profitability trends and advise key stakeholders
  • Evaluate cost price trends and offer insights
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to track marketing expenses against forecasts, assess spend efficiency, and recommend improvements
  • Join project teams to develop business cases and launch new value-added products
  • Responsible for calculating and analysing financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Assist in the Sales & Operations planning cycle


About you…


  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
  • Previous experience within strategic, forward-looking roles
  • Possess strong business acumen with a deep understanding of business models
  • Maintain a consumer and customer-centric approach through comprehensive external insights
  • Demonstrate the ability to see the big picture and connect various elements
  • Foster relationships across different organisational levels
  • Communicate effectively, ensuring clarity and impact of messages
