Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to serve as our interim Head of Data and Applications for a 6-month period. This role will lead and manage our data and applications teams, consisting of approximately 20 staff members across both domains.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide strategic leadership for the data and applications functions 2. Oversee and optimise current data systems and applications 3. Manage and develop a team of 20 professionals across data and applications domains 4. Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations 5. Drive data-driven decision making across the organisation 6. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions 7. Manage budgets and resources effectively 8. Implement best practices and process improvements


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred

- 5+years of experience in data management and applications development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

- Strong understanding of data architecture, database management, and application development

- Experience working in the non-profit sector is highly desirable

- Excellent project management and team leadership skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interim role
