Role: Portfolio Analyst

Location: London, England (Hybrid Working)

My client has experienced rapid growth and success, and are now searching for a Portfolio Analyst to join their team in London. Due to the broad spectrum of clients, the right candidate will be given the opportunity to work across a wide range of renewable energy projects and have many opportunities to progress further in the company.


Role and responsibilities:

  • Monitoring asset performance and conducting KPI variance analysis to proactively identify issues affecting performance.
  • Managing projects related to technical solutions to maximize long-term performance.
  • Overseeing contractors to ensure compliance with commercial and technical contractual requirements.
  • Reviewing contractor maintenance reports and activities for adherence to contracts and best practices, ensuring corrective actions are completed to a high standard.
  • Supporting health & safety compliance across the solar portfolio by coordinating between contractors and advisors, ensuring timely implementation of resolutions and adherence to H&S policies.
  • Conducting audit site visits, where appropriate, and delivering inspection reports.
  • Integrating new acquisitions into internal systems and asset management processes.
  • Providing support and advice to the team and driving team objectives.


Key skills and experience:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, capable of establishing effective communication channels with team members and relevant stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach, actively participating and contributing to discussions.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail, with the ability to complete tasks accurately and within established timelines.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other relevant software for extracting data to support decision-making or assist in preparing reports and deliverables.
  • Proactive in identifying risks or opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Goal-oriented with strong negotiation skills essential for achieving results.
