DesignMyNight is one of the most-loved hospitality consumer websites in the UK, Ireland and Australia.


We’re looking for an experienced SEO content editor to support the digital content team at DesignMyNight. For a 5 month period, we’re looking for someone to support on editing 5-10 SEO articles a day, 2-3 days per week.


You’ll have the exciting opportunity to work on existing consumer-driven content within our industry, editing and improving listings for restaurants, bars, pubs, experiences and beyond, across a varied number of cities.

You’ll be able to show tangible results and growth from your work, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and content pieces simultaneously. You have strong experience in improving SEO-driven content for businesses and brands, with the ability to report effectively and showcase results.


Skills


  • Proven 2-4 years experience as an SEO content writer within a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Strong and focused copywriting skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to meet high-turnover content demands.
  • An analytical and trends-driven brain.
  • A forward-thinker.
  • You’re up to date on recent Google algorithm changes and the necessary SEO skills and dependencies needed to match.
  • Proficient with GA4, Semrush and Google Search Console.
  • Strong understanding of core SEO principles and best practices.
  • Able to navigate new CMS systems efficiently.


Responsibilities


  • Write compelling and engaging copy.
  • Optimise existing web content to improve search rankings, site traffic and user engagement.
  • Improve SEO, from meta and keywords to inclusions and copy of allocated work and content.
  • Report on edits weekly and show tangible results/improvement to allocated work and content.
  • Make suggestions for new SEO content on DesignMyNight and provide evidence of potential gains/results.


Duration:


  • 5 month period
  • 2-3 days per week.
  • £ daily rate to be agreed.
