Key Responsibilities


  • Interpret customer requirements from site surveys, specifications, drawings and related documents to identify product and labour requirements for each project.
  • Preparing bill of quantities and quotations.
  • Acquire practical and theoretical knowledge to consider the impact of various types of building and installation requirements.
  • Assist in the production of client facing documentation detailing job specific technical & commercial information.
  • Control & manage your enquiry workload in keeping with deadlines.
  • Develop knowledge of regulatory requirements for compressed gases.


Qualifications & Experience


The following would be an advantage though not essential as full training will be provided.


  • Experience in an estimating/design capacity preferably within an engineering environment
  • Formal qualification in either engineering/design/project management (HND or above)
  • Ability to interpret engineering and construction drawings
  • Methodical attitude with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office Programmes (proficient use of Excel)
  • Experience with CAD software would be an advantage
