Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the E2E testing (Test planning, preparation and execution)
  • Test management using Jira X-RAY
  • Automate new scripts and the maintenance of the existing scripts. CICD integration.
  • Daily / weekly testing progress reporting
  • Working with the different internal teams and co-ordination with the 3rd parties
  • Defect management (from raising a new defect to its closure)
  • Manage and co-ordinate performance, security and accessibility testing as required.




Essential Skills:

  • Solid experience in API testing, including an understanding of latency, throughput, and scalability in API performance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to design effective test cases and scenarios for APIs, and execute them to ensure comprehensive coverage
  • Strong knowledge of Restful services, HTTP Protocols, Swagger/Open API
  • Proficient in API test automation using Postman
  • Proficiency in integrating automation tests (Postman and Newman) with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
  • Experience in testing basic API security vulnerabilities using Gitlab’s inbuilt SAST and DAST solutions
  • Experience with Google Cloud Services, such as Google Cloud Functions, Google App Engine, or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with test management tools such as Jira, XRAY, and Confluence
  • Good understanding of JavaScript
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API authentication/authorization mechanisms
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
